This little shop has been on my Bookmarked list for months and boy was it worth the wait! I met a friend there earlier today for a cup of coffee and a treat. Even in the icky, rainy weather visiting Pint Size Bakery & Coffee was a truly wonderful and delicious experience. I sampled their Coconut Macaroon tea cake with a blackberry filling and it was delicious! I have read so much about the Salted Caramel croissants, the Br-ookie, the blondies, and their savory scones but I was very happy with my choice. The decor, as my fellow Yelpers have managed, is right off a Pinterest page. The custom-made mason jar stamp on all of their packaging is just the cherry on top! As a first timer, I asked the cashier for some recommendations and she was more than happy to accommodate. She gave me a variety of recommendations which I absolutely loved: offering something with chocolate, something savory, and something with Pint Size's salted caramel. Her passion for the shop was apparent and her smile brightened up the shop on even the gloomiest STL day. If you can't tell already, I give two thumbs-up to Pint Size Bakery. The care for their craft, the customer service, as well as the decor add to the experience that they create for you and all at a $5 price line (if you are able to muster up enough self-control to only buy 1 treat!) I only wish that I had found out about Pint Size sooner! I'll be drooling just thinking about this little shop in Chicago a few months from now. ;)

I think I'm going to catch hell for saying this, but here goes nothing... I liked it. It was good food. Really! I just don't know if it was worth the price I paid for it.

The Oatmeal Creme Pies are the reason to come to this place! I'm a sucker for oatmeal cookies and was dying to give it a try!! They obviously keep them in the fridge - at first this disappointed me because I worried it would be too hard and the cookie would loose it's chewy oatmeal texture. But that wasn't the case at all! And after a couple bites I understood why you would want to refrigerate them - the marshmallow creme warms up and squeezes out. But it was a perfectly delicious, finger-lickin' experience! My second favorite treat was the Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookie Sammie. The cookie was soft and chewy and caramel icing packed a flavorful punch. I also tried the Chocolate Raspberry cake in a cup, but it wasn't really my thing. The cake was nothing special and the icing tasted mostly of sugar and less of actually raspberry. This is a cute little place and absolutely worth checking out!

We sorta stumbled upon this place shopping for a mattress. Who does that? At the time, we only lived in St. Louis for 4 days but Yelp had this place rated well for coffee so we had to try it. The place is super cute (no other way to say it). The folks are super friendly and welcoming. We ordered 2 lattes and a brookie (it's a cookie baked within a brownie). All was super delish! We'll be back for more hopefully soon!

I am extremely late on this review. Absolutely love this bakery. The oatmeal cream pies are to die for. The cupcakes are unique and delicious. Not to mention every single thing they make is absolutely ADORABLE. I adore sprinkles and so does Pint Size. I follow their Instagram and am in awe at all of their creations. I am just waiting for someone to buy me one of these cute cakes for my birthday.....or any day for that matter.

Pretty freaking awesome. I think Tracey W's review hit the nail on the head, though. I don't have much to add other than Saturday morning = raspberry zingers. Oh and yeah this place is sooo close to Knitorious that I foresee I will be making more trips just due to proximity. But the pre-requisite for that would be having to drive to Knitorious first, which is a hell of a long drive for me to begin with. And I already have enough yarn to choke an elephant...so yeah. I guess I like their baked goods but I don't crave them enough to drive an hour and a half round trip for them. I wish we had more bakeries like this on main street though!! Would be awesome if they opened a second location. BTW, be careful how much of this stuff you eat esp if you have IBS. They use a TON of butter in everything, and that, unfortunately destroyed my colon. Not trying to be gross, but be warned, especially if you don't have a gall bladder!! D: D: D:

Gentlemen forget flowers go by and get your lady a treat or two from Pint Size. Brookies, Blondies you can't go wrong...and the staff is the best...

Excellent rhubarb frosting-less cupcakes. Delicious scones -- cherry sweet and the savory too! The lemon curd cupcake was way too sweet. Too rich and too moist, almost box cake quality moist. The hazelnut chocolate chip bar was too dense and dry to my liking. No espresso :(.

I seriously love Pint Sized. Everything I get is basically the best possible specimen of whatever I get. E.g. best savory scone I have ever tasted, best brown sugar crumb cake, best molasses cookie, best salted caramel croissant! The tiny almond paste and fruit Madeleines are my absolute favorite. The staff is usually pretty awesome. There is almost always a bit of a wait but it's probably a good thing because there is soooo much to choose from it takes time to gawk.

Awesome unique Bakery!!! Wonderful oatmeal cream pies to die for! I get a least a bakers dozen when we come back to Saint Louis. The tea cakes are also one of my favorite's! Always new things to try! Love Love Love!!! GO!!!

I love bakeries that bake in small batches and use fresh ingredients. The shop is absolutely adorable, you MUST stop in and visit! I recommend the salted caramel chocolate cookie sandwich, and an espresso of course!

I am pretty conservative with my use of 5 stars, I save them like they're sacred, but I feel the need to use one here! I had found pint size on Instagram about a year or so ago and loved seeing updates from them every week with the delicious treats they are making. I went on a Friday afternoon. The shop is so cute. I got a ton of stuff because it all looked amazing. The salted Carmel chocolate cookie sandwich is damn near the best thing I've ever tasted. I also had a chocolate cupcake. The mousse-like frosting was amazing, and the cupcake was so moist. I got the oatmeal cream pie and Nutella cupcake along with the brookie for my boyfriend. The oatmeal cream pie was absolutely wonderful. The Nutella cupcake was super good, but didn't really taste like Nutella. The brookie (brownie + cookie) was also great. I have nothing but good things to say about pint size. The staff was friendly and the treats were amazing and I crave them daily. Love this place!!

Sometimes I become overwhelmed with the cuteness of everyday things. My reaction to Pint Size Bakery this morning was a little like New Girl's "Puppy in a Cup" scene. What I mean by that is--it was overwhelmingly cute. Located in my Lindenwood Park neighborhood, I always, always wanted to go. Again the cuteness factor was pulling me in. Oh. My. God. The decor was amazing. Pom-poms, mason jars, vintage trinkets galore. I got a little smorgasbord for my husband and I for breakfast. It was a little pricey but so worth it. I got a slice of their egg and zucchini quiche and one of their low fat breakfast cookies. I got my husband the bacon and caramelized onion quiche, two of their "mantastic" oat muffins, and a "dunkie" --a Twinkie covered in sprinkles. We loved it all. Everything tasted so fresh. The cashier was adorable and friendly (it also should be noted that she could pull off a leather skirt at 8 am). They serve Kaldis coffee. I was a little disappointed when they didn't serve the regular caffeinated Cafe Kaldi. Instead they had the Espresso 700 but I loved it as well. So good! To end...a gif: data1.whicdn.com/images/…

Expansion. I know a ton of experienced barista/bakers that would love working here, but you look like you've got a lot of employees at your main location. Everything I've had from here has been great. I enjoy your logo too, even if the "n" looks kind of like an "r". Keep up the great work! :)

Savory scones are super yummy! The coffee is always good, too. I love the decor and the artful presentation of the baked items.

Oh man, this little place is spectacular. So good you won't mind blowing your budget on a small treat. Everything here is made with such care and detail. You must, must, must try the savory scone. The ingredients change everyday, but the combination of ingredients (artichokes, sundried tomatoes, gouda, bacon, zucchini, etc.) are always a win. Just recently discovered the chocolate chip cookie, too. Plan on waiting a bit because they usually only have 1 person working in the mornings. This place keeps me going out of my way and consistently late for work, but totally worth it.

I'm a fan. As a matter of fact, I'm such a fan that I went back for trip #2 in less than a week. What could bring me back so soon, you ask? Well the first trip was for me. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. That trip made me happy, happy, happy! So the second trip was to purchase goodies for my co-workers so that they could also discover the joy that is called Pint Sized Bakery. Seriously though, the reason I went out of my way during my daily work commute to visit this little shoppe of horribly delicious baked goods is the fact that these people can BAKE. They're using real butter...real vanilla bean...real fresh ingredients...all mixed with the right amount of love. This will keep me coming back again and again! And I do already have favorites... HANDS DOWN, the Oatmeal Sammie is the best! The cookie is rich and buttery, and the filling is oh so light. I think they're using some kind of real whipped cream with vanilla bean to make it so heavenly. It's not your typical Little Debbie. Oh no. This is sooo much flippin' better! I also j'adore the Savory BLT Muffin. The texture is cloud-like in it's fluffiness, yet packed full of flavor with bacon, spinach, cheese, and other yummy goodness. I mean, hello...you had me at bacon. The pint sized location only boasts a few seats outside their front door, but that just allows me the joy of scarfing down the baked good goodness in the privacy of my own car. Before I leave the lot. Oh, and speaking of parking lots...those Oatmeal Sammies for my co-workers? Umm, yeah. A reason for trip #3. They may or may not have made it all the way to the office. :0)

I pretty much wish I could live here. Or that I was a kid and could eat this stuff every day. My gosh. Their Frangipani is the best single tasting thing I have ever eaten. The almond flavor is so warming that it's a struggle for me to savor every bite. I'm not going to tell you what our favorite cupcake is so they don't sell out of it :) but every one we've had from there was a dense packed punch of different flavors and sweetness. Earlier this year as I had 6 weeks left of grad school, my wife asked me what reward I wanted each week. Each week it was a cupcake from pint size. So we drove 30 minutes each Saturday morning. As for the salted cararmel croissant- there's a reason they go so quick. Light, fluffy but warm, gooey with the perfect mix of saltiness and sweetness, I'm not sure how else to describe it. Should be on your bucket list. In spite of the lack of space, I really like the vibe of pint size. The owner is super friendly, and the staff know their stuff. You can tell these folks put a ton of time and thought with coming up with new pastries each and every week. You can even see their brainstorming whiteboard in the back. #1 bakery I have ever been to. The hardest part is staying away.

Such a "sweet treat" to stop by pint sized bakery before taking on the day. Its a sure way to start your day with a smile. I'd much rather get my morning coffee from a local business owner. The staff are obviously treated well, because they treat the customers very well. They offer daily made from scratch temptations that are eatable works of art that have clearly been made with love. This place is genuine.

There is a lot to love about this place! I am embarrassed to say that I bought FOUR items just for myself (and had half out everything eaten before I even got home). The owner is delightful-- I mentioned that I was a first time visitor and she came up to talk to me and cooed over my baby. Pint Sized offers a variety of coffee drinks, tasty and unique sodas and a counter full of deliciousness. Try the "blondie"... It's made with hazelnuts and Nutella. Ahhhhmazing. My only complaint is that there is no handicap ramp. I walked to the bakery from my house with my stroller and struggled to get it up to the door. I would love if they offered a "stroller special" during certain hours for any moms or dads walking through the neighborhood (coffee and blondie??). Just an idea:) Bottom line: will I be back? Absolutely!!!!

Love this place. Have been coming here since the week they opened. Just realized i have never written a review. 1 - Amazing scones both sweet and savory. All are great. 2- Love their breakfast cookies. 3 - I have ordered cakes, pies and cookies for different parties. Every time they exceed my expectations. 4 - Coffee is Kaldi's and that is the best. 5- Every person taht works there is a a true delight to talk to. 6 - They have great breads - never dry. 7 - They offer these cool cups that you can buy - instead of getting paper every time. I always forget my cup but it is a nice feature. 8 - Homemade oatmeal creme pies are to die for. 9 - I am in LOVE with their homemade marshmallows. 10 - They are local and they support local businesses. 11 - Their quiches are OUTSTANDING! : ) If you live in the area and usually go to the Starbucks down the street or panera. STOP! Go here instead. You will not be disappointed.

Pint Size has been on my list of places to try for almost TWO years now...it never seems to be near where I am, but FINALLY this Saturday I was around South City and swung by here. I am a caramel lover through and through and the biggest reason this has been on my list is because of their famous Salted Caramel Croissants. Well lucky me there was a few left when I came here around 11:30 this past Saturday. The lady behind the counter noted that there are rarely any left after 11, but the nasty weather must have kept people away! I ended up ordering 2 salted caramel croissants (1 for me and 1 for my boyfriend...I promise am not that much of a glutton), an oatmeal crème pie, and a savory scone of the day that had an assortment of veggies in it. Everything ended up being divine. The savory scone filled me up, but was probably my least favorite of the 3 items I tried. The croissant and crème pie tie in my mind. The croissant was nice and buttery, as all croissants are but the salted caramel gave it a nice sweet kick and also a nice crunch to bite into due to the caramelized sugar. The oatmeal crème pie had two soft oatmeal cookies smooshing some delicious buttercream. This exploded with butter flavor...I probably don't even want to know how much butter is used in one of those little gems. I guess that is what I work out for, right? If you have never been here, go to this cute little shop on a Saturday morning and score one of the Salted Caramel Croissants, they really are as good as everyone says!!!

Finally managed to drop by the aptly named pint size and was so happy to find it lives up to the hype. Wonderful scratch made locally sourced baked goods. Incentive combinations without being overly trendy for the sake of being trendy. The woman who waited on us (maybe the owner) was patient and enthusiastic as my mother asked a million questions. You could tell she genuinely enjoyed being there and was proud of the product they produced. We sampled the raspberry lemonade cupcake, blondie, brownie/cookie, oatmeal cream pie and an counter impulse buy of pepper, bacon caramel corn. For me the cupcake and the caramel corn were standouts. Since cupakes have exploded in popularity I have eaten my fair share of over priced/over-styled/badly baked cupcakes. This cupcake was everything one can do right. Add the caramel corn and enjoy the blissful sugar coma. Don't fight it. I'll be back for more of the infamous treats Pint Size is doling out. Cannot wait.

People Who Will Not Like This Place: -People who consider deep-fried twinkies to be the epitome of dessert. -People who are used to buying their desserts with loose change. -People who are on a diet. People Who Will Love This Place: -People who like fancy baked goods. -People who like artistic and frou frou combinations of ingredients in their baked goods. Example, they don't have a standard, typical brownie. Their brownie has espresso in it. -People who are willing to pay more for a quality product. This stuff is extremely high quality, both in terms of ingredients, but also in preparation. -People who think any baked good is made better by having extra sugar just sprinkled on top ( honestly, the stuff I tried was TOO sweet... I know... I don't get how that is possible either, since sometimes I just pour honey directly into my mouth, but yeah it's true.) People Who Will Simultaneously Love and Hate This Place: -People who have to be to work before 7 AM and don't get to leave until after 3 PM. At least stay-at-home moms and retirees get to enjoy this place!!!!!!!! Bring me some brookies!!!!!!

I'm sure I've written a review before?? This is a must visit place and if I ever create a must visit list, this will be on it. You can not leave this place without buying at least 5 things ... and in this case on this visit with my mom, that meant 2 x 5 things ... and right after checking out I'm told there is ONE more thing I should want ... a salted caramel crossiant (where is the spellcheck that was here before ...) and it was easily one of the best foods ever. I will actually be going back here again after a Yelp friend saw my post on FB ... lunch with him then a stop at Pint Size ... so much packed into a small space, great friendly staff an array of goods you wouldn't expect is such a small space and, well ... nothing else to say. Go here! A place with a guarantee of not being disappointed.

I had read about this place in Feast, and, as a lady with a pretty mean sweet tooth, decided I needed to check it out. Having read about the pandemonium the salted carmel croissants cause, my manfriend and I got there fairly early on a Saturday morning to experience what all the fuss is about. Upon entering the shop, I was enveloped by the bakery's amazing smells and almost overwhelmed by the Pinterest-able whimsical decor. Cute pennant bunting? Check. Pastel pom-poms dangling from the ceiling? Check. Tattooed, bespectacled bakers? Done and done. When we visited, two workers were helping out behind the counter. When I inquired to the first worker about the croissants, she sort of looked annoyed, sighed, glanced at the clock, and told me they wouldn't be ready for another hour. So heads up- if you're headed out here to try the mythical croissants, they are usually ready around 10 am! We wound up getting in the other worker's (maybe the owner?) line and had trouble picking out only a couple of sweets from the display case, which is literally just brimming with the most beautiful treats imaginable. Our indecision turned out not to be a problem, as the patron in front of us seemed to have a myriad of dietary needs and was inquiring to the worker about ingredients in many of the baked goods. The worker was patient and seemed more than happy to answer the vegan-gluten-free-Paleo customer, which was encouraging and a lovely juxtaposition to the slightly crabby first worker. When we got to the front of the line, I asked about the salted carmel croissants again, and although I got a visible stankeye from the Worker #1, the lady cheerily told us we could either wait in our cars or at the tables outside and she would come get us when they were ready. Sweet (pun intended)! While we waited, we split a pistachio tea cookie and a lemon meringue tart. The pistachio tea cookie was sweet and had a surprise touch of raspberry filling inside. The lemon meringue was creamy, tart, and fresh with the meringue the perfect amount of light and airy. Both were fabulous and highly recommended. As 10 am approached, more customers started to come to the bakery and I grew a little worried Worker #2 would forget about us and our impending date with the croissants. But, despite the line slowly forming outside the shop, the lady popped her head out of the shop window to tell us the croissants were ready. Not only that, she let my boyfriend cut to the front of the line as we had been waiting for the croissants! That commitment to service really blows me away, so well done, Pint Size. And the croissants. Holy crap. So many different textures, so many different flavors, 1000% worth the wait. Coming from a relatively impatient person, take my advice and make sure you hit up Pint Size around 10 am some Saturday. You can thank me later.

Outstanding fresh baked goods on Watson, tucked into a cute little building! The scones (especially the sweet ones) are unusually good for being so far from Scotland. They have an excellent breakfast cookie and your typical named sweets. A must if you live in St. Louis and have a sweet tooth.

Would have received 5 stars, because pastries are GREAT, especially the hand pies and salted caramel croissants, but staff is SO rude! Wow. My mom and I had driven very far to try these infamous salted caramel croissants (her from Illinois!). We were told to get there RIGHT at open because they're made in small quantities, Saturdays only, and sell out FAST. We got up very early, got there right at open, and the guy helping us said they wouldn't have any until 10am. I was understandably bummed, told him what their website said and that we'd driven far. He couldn't have cared less: unapologetic and rude to us. We bought $20 in other pastries and said we'd come back at 10am for the croissants. We come back later and overhear the same guy that was rude to us tell some other customer that they get a punch for every $5 spent; we never received this punch card after spending $20 earlier. We mention this to the girl helping us this time, and she looks at us like we have 5 heads the entire time, says well I can't give you punches retroactively. She didn't even care at all. We get another $30 of pastries and I still only receive ONE punch. The entire time we were there, she was huffy, rude, an just plan ungracious and unkind. I work in the customer service industry, in fact I manage a cupcake shop! So I know how a customer should be treated and I'll tell you what, it will be VERY hard to go back, even knowing how yummy their baked goods are. I'd chalk it up to a "bad day" but TWO unkind staff members in one day and I talked to a friend who'd been there before and said the same thing about the staff. They need to get it together ASAP. Very frustrating...

Oh happy day! This place serves some delicious savory and sweet treats. I really don't know how I even decided on the 6 items that I picked out...for MYSELF (and to pawn off on people when I'm sickly full) Small space with 4-5 chairs and small tables right outside, but all you're really there for is to peruse the baked goods and perhaps pick up some coffee to-go. These were the items I got: savory scone- I'll go ahead and tell you that I shamelessly ate this in the CAR...before I even drove away. It was actually a lot less dense than a typical scone; it was more like a biscuit. a cheesy, salty, warm biscuit with just the right amount of herbs. Oatmeal cream pie- not bad at all, the marshmallow fluff filling was not as sweet as I anticipated, but it was a good balance with the cookies. Madelines- I nibbled, but I'm saving this for other people to eat because I already feel like a fat-ass. Raspberry almond cake- I'm still staring at this and debating when to eat. Go and treat yourself!

I have boosted before that Pint Size Bakery has the best scones in Saint Louis and this morning they once again proved me right. My savory scone this morning was Sweet Potato Bacon, what a winning combination. Then the sweet scone made me weak in knees it was so good. The apple and caramel made me feel like I was eating a slice of apple pie for breakfast. Both were so good, they made me wish I were not sharing them and had the entire scone to myself. If you have not experienced Pint Size Bakery yet, you need to get yourself there now and try their scones. You can also try their; cookies, brownies, muffins, cupcakes and more. Whatever you enjoy, you'll be back for more.

This place is so charming, so delectible, and so friendly. Everything one would want out of their neighborhood bakery! I've experienced the joy of eating their items a few times, but just recently set foot in the shop. I went twice in one week, and was close to weeping at how adorable the shop is and how downright buttery bazinga-mazing it smells in there. I exclaimed to my husband that I wanted to become best friends with everyone who works there and just give them all the monies in exchange for being surrounded by the beautiful works of culinary yum-yums, like, all the time. Stray Observations: (I know, I'm borrowing this from AV Club...) - The pastry angels (employees) can be found laughing, smiling, joking and decorating cupcakes to perfection at 7:30 in the AM - The 4 Cheese savory scone is to die for. So are the Drunken Pumpkin cupcakes. So is everything else. - Don't overlook the coffee. Srsly. It's the perfect complement to any of the above items. - Is this place a little spendy? Yes, it is... but I dare you to find a small batch bakery that offers SO MUCH on a daily basis that is so beautifully baked and decorated with QUALITY ingredients. There is a Panera and a Starbuck's up the block that charge a comparable price for a far more commercialized experience/product. I'd happily pay an extra $1-2 to support this awesome local business. - I hope they stay local!! I can walk here, and my mother-in-law and son do walk here weekly! I would be so sad if they ever relocate... Keep it up, Pint Size, you little engine that could! Take over the world with dat buttercream.

I had heard about this bakery through word of mouth and after going here once, I can already say this is my favorite bakery in St. Louis. When I got the location, I was surprised, it was small, looked kinda dinky and didn't seem like were going to live up to their reputation. Once inside, it was charming, quaint and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Fun fact- I actually waited in line twice. I ordered the sun-dried tomato and cheese scone and I overheard the chef saying something about salted caramel croissants being done in 10 mins. My ears perked up and I asked the cashier by the time I got there if it was true. She stated that I could wait around for them if I wanted to and they would indeed be done soon. I twiddled my thumbs for a few minutes and then noted the decorations, talked to the cashier a bit and kinda hung around the entrance for a few minutes. Everyone was really nice, considering the fact that I was stalking these famous croissants. I stood back in line as it been around 10 mins and as they took the treasured croissants out of the oven, the air smelled heavenly. I got two, one for me and one to share of course and they were every bit as good as I had heard about. The croissant was soft, buttery and melted in your mouth which contrasted well to the crunchy salted caramel topping. I finished mine in 3 mins or so which is really fast for me! I'm normally a slow, chew-your-food-20-times kind of an eater. Everything on their menu looked delicious to be honest so you probably couldn't go wrong, but these croissants are one of a kind. I haven't had anything like them! This place is truly a hidden gem in St. Louis!

What did I stumble across today, you may ask? Alright you're not asking but I'm telling you anyway. Hang on while I get the powdered sugar out of my hair and wipe off my iPhone that has pastry goo all over it (yes, that really happened.) I found a place that satisfied my sweet tooth, made me ridiculously happy, and served me Kaldi's coffee. Thumbs up. I laughed out loud when I saw how tiny this place literally is, and now I understand the name much better. It's pretty darn cute and there was only a small amount of pastries out, but what I had will have me talking about it for days: a salted caramel almond blondie. Words cannot describe the dance party that took place in my mouth upon the first bite. Well done, Pint Size. You are now my favorite bakery. Once you find your favorite pastry, call ahead to make sure they have it before going back... since they bake new things every day, there's a chance you'll have to wait for it to come back. Christy, the owner, takes so much pride in this place and it shows. She lists her interests on her website as "chocolate chip cookies, strong coffee, and singing in the rain" -- no wonder I'm in love with this place! The fact that Kaldi's coffee is available is icing on the cake (caramel on the blondie?) and I can see myself stopping by whenever the craving hits. A word of advice, don't try to eat anything from PS while in the car. You'll end up with it all over you and your belongings.

I could go on and on about how much I love Pint Size Bakery. But instead I will just say this; I have tried many of the different baked goods they offer (including the famous salted caramel croissants) and I have yet to be disappointed by anything. Seriously, every single thing I have ever had from here has been delicious. Now keep in mind that the offerings are different every time I go there (usually on Saturday mornings) so if there is one specific thing you love it might not be available all the time. They have a Facebook page so maybe they update their menus on there. I don't know because I don't care. It doesn't matter to me, I know that if they make it I will love it.

I've been here a handful of times and I want to love it.. but I just don't. It's ok, but after having tried several things, I haven't found anything that has made me come back to order again. It's super cute and the people working are friendly, but the baked goods just don't tickle my fancy. The thing that has come the closest is the brookie, a brownie with a cookie baked in the middle. It was good! Other things I've tried.. the cookie with potato chips (hard and the flavor wasn't there), pineapple upside down cake (the consistency of the cake was not good, too sweet.. the pineapple should be the star), a blackberry type cake, cupcakes, and a scone. The scone read "4 cheese" and when I got home, I broke it in half because I was going to warm it up and put a little butter on it.. thank goodness, because I noticed a chunk of something in it that was suspicious, and looking/smelling closer, it was bacon! I didn't see anything about that on the sign - and being a vegetarian, biting into that would have ruined my day. I'm sure there are a few more things that I didn't mention and forgot. Sorry Pint Size. I might try you again but with so many baked goods around, I probably won't make a special trip.

I flew out from San Diego for a special event and made sure to order my cupcakes from here. Every single person complimented how good they were. I got the French vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting. Incredibly delicious. I also made sure to try the quiche, mouth watering must have delicious. I got the bacon and egg as well as the caprese quiche. Also, they have the best coffee that I have ever had in my entire life. Chad made me a vanilla bean caramel iced latte. I would go there every day if I could. I wish that they had this type of savory goodness in San Diego!!! Next time I am in town I will definitely be back.

Holy crap, slices of heaven crafted by Jesus Tried the S'mores dark chocolate rice krispie treat, brocoli/jack cheese scone (much better than it sounds) oatmeal creme pie (THE BIG WINNER) and a cranberry something cookie. All improbably perfect tasting.

Awesome hand crafted baked goods! The sweet potato with carmelized onion savory scone is outstanding. It's not dry and tastes more like an old fashioned biscuit that doesn't fall apart. Very flavorful and savory indeed. I tried the oatmeal pie and it was also top notch, made with a perfectly crisp and flavorful oatmeal cookies and an exceptional cream filling. You can't beat the unique variety of high quality baked goods to choose from. The coffee was just Ok. I think it was Kaldi's which is decent quality coffee, but not really my thing.

This place is awesome! The food is delicious (I only had a breakfast muffin with lots of carrots and zucchini--sounds awful but there was enough butter and sugar to make up for it). Super tasty. EVERYTHING in the place looked amazing, and not your average bakery fare, a lot of it is a twist on an old idea and it is all beautifully presented. I took off a star because it is small, doesn't have seating, and I'm not a fan of Kaldi's. I had a regular latte and if you like Kaldi's or the local micro-roast stuff, I'm sure you'll like it. It's just not my style. Many thanks to the owner for having an awesome bakery in our great neighborhood. If you decide to open or expand, please have a kids' area and I promise we will be there EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. :)

Pint Size Bakery is everything I could ever be looking for. Not only do they have delicious sweets (OCPs, a cooke-brownie fusion, and great cupcakes) but they also have amazing savory treats. I highly recommend the BLT muffin. Plus, as an added bonus, the women who work/run Pint Size Bakery are the nicest humans and are always personable. So check this place out- get a snack for yourself and a treat for a friend. They'll love you for it.

This place is wonderful. I have yet to try something that I do not like. I love that their menu is always different, and they have really great muffins and scones. I'm so glad that this place exists.

Our first visit here, me and the BF. We waited for 2hrs for the salted caramel croissant. I read about it in Sauce which failed to mention that it's only served on Saturday starting at 10am and they only make 36 for the day, so when they're gone they're gone. Also they have a max of 2 per customer. Let me say that the wait was worth it!!!! We ordered the salted caramel croissants, pecan sticky roll made with brioche bread and a hand made sweet pie (shaped like a toaster strudel and filled with sweetened cream cheese, strawberries and rhubarb. The croissants are $9 something, the cinnamon roll $4.25 and hand made pie was $4.45 or so. This place smells absolutely delicious inside and out. I mean amazing!!!! The staff is very friendly and patient, because they have to field a lot of questions. The bakery offers such an expansive array of items from sweet to savory your eyes and senses tell your brain to order everything. Our items were wonderfully amazing!!!! I mean absolutely delicious. I can't wait to return!!! The croissants were fresh out the oven, the salted caramel is soo subtle and not over powering or rich. If you like croissants you will love these. The cinnamon roll was rich, my BF loved it. My homemade pie was perfectly balanced. The crust was beautiful, flavorful and flakey. The filling was creamy and bountiful. This place uses quality ingredients, you can tell from the taste of their products. Unfortunately I missed out on the brioche pecan sticky buns which are only offered on Saturdays and rotate with the cinnamon rolls. I ordered a sticky roll and was given a cinnamon roll instead. The co-owner, the man was sooo nice about the mistake. He refunded my money and let me keep the cinnamon roll. This is a very nice establishment with nice people. It was well worth losing sleep on a Saturday to come out and try. Looking forward to the next visit.

Savory scones and lattes with Kaldi's coffee and freshly made (which means NO chemicals or fake flavoring!) syrups?! My love for Pint Size Bakery & Coffee knows no bounds. Don't forget the Brookie..."a brownie and cookie that are in love." Now, if I can just get them to open up a second location in NYC, my life would be complete :)

Scones, quiche, and best of all the salted caramel croissants-fantastic. Get there early on Saturday to nab a croissant. They're worth getting up early for and one of the best ways to start your Saturday morning.

Everything here is delicious. The cookie with potato chips and white chocolate is probably my favorite, however I always want the savory scone too! The pumpkin loaf is moist and flavorful, the blondies are always soft and delicious and the Brookies are an ingenious concoction of brownie meets cookie! I would give this place a 5 star rating if they learned what speedy service was. Every damn time you go there it's like only one person can work the counter. Then you get some lady who wants to have a goddamn conversation with the clerk and won't shut her big yapper! The next thing you know your waiting 15 minutes and the chatty clerk gives the last savory scone to the yappy lady who couldn't make up her mind. So yes, it's a 5 star place if they could speed it the eff up.

A friend and I stopped in on a whim this past week when we were both hungry for a snack. I ordered a chai latte (yummy!), a savory scone (red pepper, asiago, green onion, and chihuahua cheese), and a caramel-filled chocolate cupcake. If it hadn't been the last one, I would have turned the car around immediately after finishing the scone to go buy a half dozen! My mouth has been dreaming of it ever since. The cupcake, which I saved for an evening dessert, was all I could have hoped for...loved the real, rich buttercream frosting and moist cake. My friend opted for a coffee, cupcake, and slice of carrot cake. Everything received an enthusiastic thumbs up from her as well. We will definitely be visiting again...soon!

Get in, order a Kaldi Coffee, grab an organic treat, get out. Super convenient but a bit pricey. This is a great place to go if you are all about supporting local businesses and are on the run. Lots of quality and thought, but not the greatest customer service if you don't know your stuff. (Coffee lingo, etc) Also, not great hours of operation..

This is pretty much the cutest little bakery! Fellow Yelper Amrita R. kept on telling me to come here so I finally did when I went on a companion bakery outlet run. The space is SO CUTE! Chalkboard menus, small counter space, little nooks for coffee service and oh so many adorable treats! I picked up a savory scone and two coffee cardamon chocolate biscotti. YUM. They also had madelines, sweet muffins, savory muffins, quiche, cookies, and CUPCAKES! So many things to try! So little space in my tummy. hehehe. If i'm in the area and they're open, I'll definitely stop by. I love this place!

Best savory scone I have ever had and I've had my share. Enjoyed a cup of tea did not try coffee. Also recommend Breakfast cookie, Mexican wedding cookie, and the Almond Madeline. Cupcakes looked to die for. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is the best bakery in St. Louis, hands down. Everything is homemade, fresh, and delicious. Pros: - Everything is awesome. I've not had anything that wasn't delicious. - The salted caramel croissants are the best dessert/sweet I've ever eaten. I would eat a dozen of them if possible. Cons: - It's really small, and the salted caramel croissants sell out immediately. ARGH!

This is a great bakery! I will definitely visit again whenever I'm in St Louis. It's tiny. There's standing room for a few people inside, and there are a couple tables outside along the sidewalk. We got the apple crumb cakes, blackberry almond tea cakes, and a few muffins, and they were all very good. Everything is made of good fresh ingredients. The person that waited on me was very friendly and helpful.

Dear Pint Size Bakery, I'm on to you. You may appear to be an adorable, creative little bakery, but I know you are secretly a conspiracy to make me waste as much of my time as possible. Why else would you locate yourself on the complete opposite end of the city? You knew I would be compelled to drive ridiculous distances to satisfy my savory scone cravings. Well, you were right. I suspected something was afoot the moment I walked into this place. The cute vintage baking gear lining the walls was the first cue. The chalkboard sign stating your mission to use only fresh, local ingredients was the second. But when I saw that the kitchen is literally two feet behind the main counter, I knew that this was a deliberate ploy to create the perfect little bakery and put it just out of my reach. And just to spite me further, you were incredibly friendly when I come into the store. You pointed out the best baked goods, yelled back and forth in the kitchen about what you should put in the savory scones tomorrow, and were completely delightful to the rude customer that comes in after me. You've overheard me say in other bakeries that I hate making decisions at places like this, so you have several mini-muffins available. I don't even have to choose whether to get the blueberry, banana, or lemon poppy seed muffin - I can get a bite of each. And of course your savory muffin of the day is a BLT and your savory scone is bleu cheese and artichoke. So not only am I going to drive far distances, I'm going to get more pastries than I should. It's all part of your evil plan. And then as the coup de grace, you make sure that every one of the baked goods is completely delicious. The sweet muffins are delicate and rich without being too sweet, and the savory muffin is packed with bacony goodness. And since you know how much I love scones, you make the savory scone the best of the bunch. The wonderful satisfaction of finding a lump of artichoke tucked within the tangy scone? Diabolical. I'm onto you, Pint Size Bakery. So when I'm coming back again and again to try all of the constantly changing pastries you offer, just know it's really to keep an eye on your devilish plan.

Shocked to realize I never reviewed my favorite on-the-way-to-work drop by place. (I guess it's like forgetting to tell my wife she's beautiful or forgetting to tell my kids they're special. Oh, guys!) The second-best latte in town, I think, after Northwest Roasting. Eccentric mix of muffins, sweet breads, odd desserty objects. Very creative, though bordering on the pointlessly creative. I often wish they'd just offer the classics. But the deity hath decreed that I shall live in St. Louis, where you never get what you really want. There must be some profound Catholic lesson in this (it being St. Louis), but I'm still too Jewish to figure it out. Anyway, sorry, .... If you want sweet but healthy, go for the incredible breakfast cookie. Someday someone will turn these things into a billion-dollar business. Hope it's these guys. p.s. they also get the award for most unpretentious, it's-about-the-food-stupid (!), quality vibe in St. Louis

I just finished my first purchase(s) from here. ALL I can say is holy bakery goddess. This tiny place truly knows what they are doing. I drove there this morning, eager to finally see what all the fuss was about. Upon my GPS saying "you have arrived" I giggled, they were serious when they said "pint sized", and I love it. It's the tiniest, cutest little place I've ever seen. With one table outside to sit at and a little DIY soda bottle cap encircled "open" sign, I walked in. Immediately, I was charmed. Mason jar lights. If anyone knows me, they know how bizarrely obsessed with these jars I am. There's an assortment of fresh goodies on display and the back is wide open so you can watch everyone making these magical little treats. I took in my surroundings and the pop music on the radio, eyeing my options. I settled on the sweet scone: fig and almond, and, as my weakness...a bite sized pumpkin muffin. They serve Kaldis coffee (yes!) so I got an iced one for the road. The woman, the owner, who helped me was so friendly and the women she worked with all interacted so freely. You can tell they love what they are doing. Someone outside was taking a photo and one of the ladies popped her head out of a side window exclaiming, "darnit! I missed it, I was gonna make a face!" Now, I took my little gems, and came to sit in the park. First, my mini muffin. WOW. You can definitely tell they use all farm fresh ingredients. It was a fall fiesta in my mouth. The spice was right on; not too strong, but not lacking in the least bit. It's the perfect size for a taste test and the almonds and crumble topping made it just that much more enjoyable, adding just a little texture to the moist muffin. My scone put new emphasis on the word "Sweet". Talk about making me beg for more. Chunks of fig and almond in each and every bite with sweet crumble-y goodness on top that added a burst of flavor with each chew. It pulled apart and pretty much melted in my mouth. I am so impressed (ehem--so smitten) with this little place. I'm glad it's a little bit of a drive or I'd be here every single day.

Love this place! A great location and addition to the area. The salted caramel croissant is heavenly, and flies out the door on Saturdays (only day they're offered). I recommend the brown suga crumb cakes, brownies and the scones (savory or sweet), too. Plus delicious coffee. Go!

Stopped in for the first time this morning to buy chocolate cupcakes for my son's birthday. The double chocolate cupcakes look so good, I'm not sure we can wait until tomorrow to eat them! Also bought the Brown Shuga crumb cake - it was fantastic! All of the baked goods looked like they would be fantastic as well.

My new favorite bakery in St Louis, and I'm a baker! The owners are really sweet and the choice of goods are amazing, as well as decently priced. Love the potato chip cranberry cookie, as well as their chocolate chip muffin! The red velvet was good and the triple chocolate cookie is rich and delicious. My friend and I stopped by here and stocked up for a sugar-high brunch and it was totally awesome. We pretty much loved everything we got. My only complaint was that I like my sugar cookies slightly chewy and these were very crumbly, but that's kind of a personal point. The gingersnaps were also way too ginger-y... obvious, I know, but just warnin' ya! The bakery itself is very small with not much space inside but that only adds to the charm. It's definitely worth checking out and going early because I bet they're going to sell out of stuff as word spreads!

I keep wanting to like this place, and have been in probably 4-5 times. Everything always looks SO delicious! The staff are friendly, the place is adorable, the iced coffee is good, and you definitely want to eat everything you see. The only negative is I just don't think the baked goods are that yummy. It looks amazing, and then I'm disappointed in the taste. In my opinion, most things are tooooo sweet. Of course baked goods are going to be sweet, but in my opinion they're overly sweet to the point where you taste sugar more than blueberries (or whatever the flavor is....). I've tried to love it, but it's just not for me. Glad to see the business doing well, though!

Better every time I go. My new obsession is the pumpkin loaf with dark chocolate chunks. My birthday cake (raspberry and vanilla) came from there and was beautiful and crazy delicious. Love the sweet, the savory, the tiny cans of Perrier. Wish I could time my arrival better to get the salted caramel croissants but you know, it is what it is. There's always something amazing to dry my tears with. Never change, Pint Size. Well, unless you get a bit bigger. Waiting outside to get inside in 90 degree+ heat sucks, but I do it if necessary because it makes my tummy so happy.

There hasn't been a single morsel from Pint Size that I haven't loved. Period. The staff is friendly and they know their products. Yes, it can get crowded at times, but if you go often enough you get used to the ebb & flow and can figure out when to show up. One of my favorite things about PSB is the tartlets. I have a HUGE sweet tooth and would chow down on bakery goods to unconsciousness, so I love having just a couple of bites to savor. I also love that they use local, seasonal ingredients wherever they can. I've been inspired to buy more locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, now that I know how they can elevate the taste of food! They're very responsive, as well. I tweeted a question to them, and they responded in detail. That's a rare thing in today's world! I'm looking forward to stopping by tomorrow on my way to the grocery store. One last thing: They use Square for credit card processing, and can email the receipt to you. It's also connected to a rewards "punch" card. I'm looking forward to filling it up to see what happens! As others have said, they're a little more expensive, but it's totally worth it. To pick up a special treat for a lazy Sunday morning is non-pareil!

Welcome to the neighborhood, Smalls. That's going to be your nickname because, while you're adorable, I don't think more than 3 people could fit in the ordering area at one time. I decided to give Pint Size a visit for some savory scones. I was having a dinner party and thought they would be impressive replacement for regular bread. The flavors change based on what local ingredients they can get. On this particular visit, I was able to get the onion, red pepper, mozzarella, thyme scones. And, when I say fresh ingredients, I mean it! The mozzarella even came from a local Missouri farm. They told me to stick them in the oven for a few minutes before serving and that was the best tip! They were so good, slightly crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Great idea to impress a dinner party. The employees were out-of-this-world friendly and showed me a few of their other offerings. All looked great. Plus, they sell Kaldi's coffee. I'll be back on a more-selfish shopping trip soon, where everything I buy is for # 1, here - aka ME!

Not sure what I can add that hasn't already been said! When Pint Size first opened I had a good feeling about it. It looked cute, I love the concept of small batches, and who doesn't love sweets? The shop itself is pint size, I like how when you are at the counter ordering you can see how the kitchen works. They are always busy in the back, which means more yummy treats for us! My favorite sweet is the oatmeal sandwiches. I can't stop in and not leave without them. They are so good! Buttercream filling mixed with marshmallow, yum! I've tried the brookie sp? (brownie/cookie mix), muffins, and other various treats and I've never been disappointed. I haven't made it in on a Saturday morning for the salted croissants yet, but it is on my to do list. They also serve Kaldis coffee which is a major bonus.

Really great place! We picked up some different sliced breakfast loafs for an office meeting and everyone loved it. Zucchini bread was everyones favorite. Chocolate chip loaf pretty darn good. And one reminded me of Goey Butter cake. Can't say I got the chance to try the coffee, but I am hopeful someone will drop by and pick more goodies up next time we have an office event.

Decide how much you want to spend before you leave. Set a limit and only take that much with you. Otherwise, you will buy everything and eat everything with no regrets or second thoughts. Everything is good but reserve 10-11am Saturday for this task. Warm pecan rolls, salted croissants, fresh cookies. No better start to a weekend than this place.

I stopped in a few days ago and got the quiche, all I can say about it is I'll be back for more. Also had a breakfast cookie, yum, chrunch and chewy all in one cookie, thats what I like. Have been here a few times now and have yet to try everything. Well worth the trip there, give them a try.

Word of warning: Should you decide to hit the "Like" button for Pint Size Bakery, Chef C. will fill your Facebook page with photo's of her mouthwatering bakery. Chef C. is a marketing genius- you know how when you get ear worms from certain songs, well, she sends you eye worms. You get these pictures of her bakery, and pretty soon you are sitting in a pool of drool. You hit the "Like" button to each and every photo. You can't take it anymore, leave that site and go to Yelp. Hah, there she is again with all the photo's taunting you. Genius I tell you! So, today it is raining. Why does rainy weather make you crave desserts? I am looking out the front window and those pictures of the bakery are flashing through my mind, I wiped the drool of my chin, put on my fat jeans, and headed out the door with my husband in tow. We repeated some items from last visit and tried some new choices. A Blackberry Almond Tea Cake, a mini Pineapple Upside Down Cake, a Orange Dreamcicle Cookie, a Oatmeal Creme Cookie, a Cranberry Crunch Cookie, a Blueberry Loaf, and some mini Cupcakes. This time the bakery was stategically placed in the trunk. No grazing before lunch. I sliced the bakery in quarters when we got home for some sampling, so we could get a taste of the new selections. No regrets on anything. Love, love the Orange Dreamcicle Cookie- it does justice to it's name. There is still much to be tried. On my future visits I hope to score a Carmel Sea Salt Scone, a peice of that delicious looking birthday cake on display and so much more. I think I will go freeze some of the bakery so next time those photo's pop up I can make a short trip to my freezer and satisfy the eye worms. That is unless some Prune Danish pics magically appear...

If you want cheap baked goods, go to Schnucks. If you want pretty good but a little more pricey baked goods, go to MacArthur Bakery or Lubelley's. If you want flat out excellent, fresh, baked delights, and aren't too overly worried about how much that little bag you walk out with will cost, go to Pint Size. Truly the best bakery in St. Louis - and maybe I'm being too restrictive. The best in the Midwest, perhaps? Let me just say if there's anyplace that's better, get some samples sent to me and I'll be happy to do a taste test. But for now, Pint Size = completely delicious.

Recently used Pint Size for a cake for an engagement party and it was a HUGE hit. Everyone was asking where it was from. The staff at Pint Size was super helpful. I knew nothing about what kind of flavors / icing went well together or methods of decorating the cake and they were so nice. Offered to post some pictures to Instagram or Facebook of recent cakes to help me see what they were talking about and make a decision (I ordered over the phone). It was $40something for a 9 inch round, three layer cake that they said fed about 24 people. Definitely reasonable AND delicious.

I have a BFF that LOVES cupcakes and I drive by this adorable place many times a week. I called on Thursday and ordered a dozen assorted cupcakes and 6 "Brockies" which are brownies with a chocolate chip cookie baked inside. The most delicious things ever! The owners are wonderful and so very nice and thoughtful! They thanked us for giving them a try. They asked what we had planned for the day and we told them that we were heading to a winery for a birthday party. Upon hearing that we would be outside all day, the red velvet with cream cheese cupcakes were switched out because they said that they might ruin in the heat. I really appreciated this. Thank you so much and I will be back again and again!!!!

Great lattes ( I even got mine with Almond Milk), cupcakes and cheddar bacon scones. The cupcake icing had a different taste to it, but that is probably because they use real ingredients vs processed. It was Mardi Gras weekend, so it was decorated very well - complete with a sugar king cake baby on top of purple, yellow and green sugar! Plenty of parking, but no sitting area - especially if it is cold out. The counter is literally a couple feet from the front door, and there is barely room for a line to the register, let alone places to sit or stand to enjoy your treat. We took ours home after discovering this. It wasn't too much of a hassle but we were hoping to "dine in". I would definitely go back, but only if it was on the way to another destination.

I love this newish little bakery on Watson. There are plenty of tasty treats, both sweet and savory. I've sampled cupcakes, scones and random sweets and have been pleased with everything. You can tell that a lot of thought and love go into the food. Pint probably won't become a regular stop for me, though, for two reasons. First, they don't serve hot chocolate. I don't drink coffee or most tea, so missing this basic item is a problem for me. Today they happened to have hot cider, which I got, but had they not, I'd have walked out with nothing because I wasn't in the mood for sweets yet (crazy, I know). Second, the shop is standing room only. I rarely go to bakeries and coffeeshops without my laptop -- and lots of writing -- in tow. Despite being near many of my errand stops, Pint Size Bakery probably won't be part of my regular routine. I'll stop by for a cupcake and takeout desserts occasionally, though.

Really great stuff. Friendly staff. Above and beyond quality. One caveat - on two different occasions (with two different servers) I was double charged for an item. So keep an eye on your receipt (square - which means text or email receipt).

Ever since I saw the "coming soon" sign, I've wanted to stop by this quaint little bakery. Yesterday was finally the day! I stopped in around 8:30 am to find only one other person in line. I wasn't greeted by anyone even though I could hear and see several people behind the counter. Since I had never been here before, I found this a little irritating, but I took the time to look over the pastry case and deciding what I wanted to order. When it was finally my turn, I went with a whole wheat, carrot, and walnut muffin with a "smaller" drip coffee. The muffin was DELICIOUS and very obviously homemade. I was impressed with the flavor and texture; not dry at all. They do accept debit and credit cards, but with a $5 minimum. Their prices are pretty affordable, so if it's just you going for breakfast or a snack, bring your cash! Overall I think it's a cute, convenient, local business and I'll most definitely go back. I agree with a previous reviewer in that maybe they should do away with the full espresso bar and focus on what they're fabulous at already: baked goods. I also feel that maybe they're slightly lacking in the staff/customer service department, but they're still new and figuring things out, so I'll forgive them that.

Someone brought in some oatmeal cream pies to the office. So of course I couldn't resist and had to try one. OH MY GOD. These were AMAZING!!! I was ready to leave work and go directly to this bakery and buy a box of these. Man they were good. I can't wait to see what else this place has to offer.

I almost wish I didn't know how delicious Pint Size was. It's dangerously close to where I live, and it's impossible to go in and just grab one thing! The first baked good I ever had was a savory scone, and it was almost a religious experience. The scone was buttery, flaky, and the edges were perfectly crisp. We tried for weeks to get the infamously delicious salted caramel croissants, but to no avail. (It's kind of hard to be too disappointed, though; everything we ordered instead was remarkably delicious.) Then, one Saturday morning...there they were. Just out of the oven. The salted caramel croissants. We managed to get two before the pan was gone, and were instructed to wait until they cooled to room temperature. You know that trick where people balance treats on dogs' noses and make them wait? Yeah, now I know how the poor dogs feel. We waited, though. Oh, gracious. The croissants were otherworldly. Pint Size unabashedly uses real butter and real eggs. No substitutions here. This makes the menu a little difficult if you're on a restricted diet, but it's worth it. One bite of a pastry made with whole ingredients, and you'll never want mass-produced, preservative-laden anything out of a box, ever again.

If only my figure could stay pint sized... I'm always in the area, and I can't resist this place - and I don't even mind the prices one bit. Brookies - 1/2 Brownie 1/2 Cookie that has a nice balance (and cheeky name that I love to say) BLT muff is heavenly, when I can wake up early enough to get there... Oh, and it's worth it to fight over that last salted caramel croissant.

I really love this place. Not all of the baked goods are my favorite flavor combinations, but they have enough variety that anyone can be pleased. This bakery is indeed pint sized and sometimes on weekends the line is well out the door! They manage to send everyone home with what they're looking for. Often people come in in the mornings to bring treats for work. I have had great luck with their cupcakes and scones, and their oatmeal cream pies are something to write home about. I love taking guests from out of town here to get treats for breakfast. It's hard to leave with just one or two items. The prices are a little steep, but when you consider that everything is made right there, everything is always fresh and delicious... It's worth it. The only thing I genuinely dislike is the Kaldi's coffee. It's not that I have a problem with Kaldi's in general, but on two occasions I've gotten iced coffee from Pint Size. I ended up with a terrible stomach ache, pretty much burping coffee until I went to bed that evening. I do not recommend the coffee. Otherwise, get your baked goods on!

Been waiting for weeks for Pint Size to open. Today I finally got there. Very nice selection of savory and sweet. Last week my sister went and they were closed for restocking. I think they must have been overwhelmed with the people clamoring to try them out. I tried the Apricot & White Chocolate scone and Blueberry Mini Muffins. The scone was divine. Moist and tender on the inside with a slightly sweet crunchy exterior. Plenty of apricot but little or no white chocolate that I could see. Still it lacked nothing and was delish. The mini muffins on the other hand were dismal and very, very dry. I'll return and keep trying new things, especially to sample the different scone flavors. Just want to add that the $5.00 credit card minimum is a bad idea. It'd be better to just say cash only up front. A customer like me will come in more often for a small treat than getting a big order .

Everything about this place is magical. The espresso was great, and I am pretty sure that one of the ladies here told me that they make the flavor syrups in house. Since I was on vacation, I basically got one of everything. The madeleines(?) were amazing. Breakfast muffin, croissants, brownies, cupcakes, all worth a drive from Chicago just for that. I also tried their bacon popcorn, which was great. Cutest store as well, so major points for that. Love what you do, ladies!

Cookies, quiches and cookies oh my-plus a WHOLE LOT MORE!!!!!! Not going to lie about it, went when they opened and hadn't been back until yesterday AND today and I don't know what I was thinking for not going back sooner!!! They have you covered from savory scones & breakfast muffins-that are all great- to sweets such as cakes, cookies and sweet scones!!!! While some may say its almost on the pricey side, I say you get what you pay for and they go out of their way to use only the finest and purest ingredients which makes a visit WELL WORTH a visit, or two, or three or more!!!!! Living only two blocks away from them, Lord give me strength and the number to Weight Watchers!!!!

Oh.my .goodness. I heard about this small bakery that happened to be right by my house (literally walking distance) and decided to give it a try. Oh boy am I glad that I did! I had a quiche, the beau had a savory scone, we shared a latte and also got an oatmeal pie to share later. It was so amazing that we came back the next day which just happened to be a Saturday... I ordered the quiche again and M ordered a salted caramel croissant. If you've never been here, don't come here on a Saturday and most certainly do NOT order a salted caramel croissant. I repeat, whatever you do don't order one! Why? Because I want to eat them ALL! I'm going to find out who makes them and/or who has the recipe and kidnap them. Seriously, watch your back workers of Pint Size!

What a beautiful little gem of a place! I got cupcakes for my friend's 30th birthday and they were amazing (my favorite was the red velvet!) Christie & Megan were just dolls & I will be back soon, especially for those savory scones. (It has to be one of the BEST scones I have ever put into my mouth!) Thanks for being so fabulous Pint Size!! :)

Food is awesome but it's not someplace to go if you're in a hurry. The prices are a little higher than normal, but they're local and nice so no big deal.

I had fallen in love with this little south side jewel. I absolutely LOVE the savory scones and sweet scones. Let's not forget the chocolate chip cookies that put the Bread Co cookies to SHAME! I am going to have to be careful, as my body can not afford a weekly visit to them. Support this local owned bakeshop, they will be sure to please.

Most of the time when my mom and I go to bakery's we are almost ALWAY disappointed. HOWEVER this time we were wonderfully surprised. I can't wait to go back!! We had a vanilla cupcake (amazing) carrot cake with cream cheese icing (delicious) a mango/blueberry scone (awesome) and my mom had a breakfast sandwich (best crust ever) the staff was very friendly and very sweet and I was sooooo full when we left :) good job ladies!!

Absolutely delicious pastries and Kaldis coffee made for a great start to my morning. I ordered a Blackberry Frangipan tea cake and a Brown Sugar Crumb Cake. Both were heavenly. Service was also great. Highly recommended that you make Pint Size Bakery a regular stop.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! You must try this lovely little bakery. I absolutely LOVED everything I purchased. The cranberry crunch cookie, terrific, the Russian teacakes, just fabulous, the scones and stuffed oatmeal cookie, out of this world goodness. I spent over $10 bucks just testing as much as I could tolerate in one evening. I ate it all and boy was it good. I loved it. A really excellent bakery and I plan on going back soon! When you want to reward yourself head for this place.

I've only had their goodies twice but it's enough to say that I LOVE them! The first time the Mr. and I went late on a Sat morning so there weren't as many options but the ones that were there were amazing. The cocoa nib-espresso brownies are to die for and I'm not much on brownies that aren't cake-like. These are definitely a more dense brownie than I normally prefer but they are so good. I think my very favorite item is the salted caramel "cruffin" which I got because we were too late for the croissants. Either way, they're insanely delicious so I can only imagine how good the croissants are! Word of advice: GO GO GO get one of these! The part that impressed me the most was how fresh everything is. My husband brought me home goodies on Saturday and I didn't get around to eating one of my cupcakes until Monday and it was still soft and super fresh. It was as if I had picked it up that very day! That almost never happens with baked goods that are left sitting in a box for a couple days so I was delighted. Long story short, just go and try something. You'll be impressed and you'll love whatever you get. They also have Ski soda in the glass bottles! Can't beat that.

We live about three blocks from Pint Size, and I have to say I love having places like this in the neighborhood. I have Celiac Disease, so the lack of gluten-free options is prohibitive for me consuming their highly acclaimed offerings. Like I said, though, I believe places like this are great for the neighborhood so love the fact that I have somewhere I can walk for Kaldi's Coffee. Just concerning operations, Pint Size seems understaffed. One person running the cash register, fixing coffee drinks, and grabbing baked goods (one customer at a time) is simply not enough. We walked in around 10:30 on a Saturday morning and the line of about eight people in front of us took 30 minutes to get through. The first time I came in, a similar line took only 4-5 minutes to get through. At that time, the only coffee available was a drip coffee at the end of the line, leading me to believe maybe they should consider focusing on their baking rather than making coffee drinks. I can't stress enough how highly acclaimed the owner of this bakery is as a baker. St. Louis foodies love this place, but I don't get the sense the coffee is what is driving people here...I'd hate to see its unintended consequences drive them away. While standing in line, we watched four people walk in, see how slowly the line was moving, and leave. Only the very most loyal customers are going to regularly wait in line this long. I absolutely will go again, I just hope they work these operations issues out so customers are able to get their food/drinks in a reasonable amount of time.

Who couldn't love this place!! I just had a savory scone--soooo good. Perfect!! Nothing I have had there is bad and it takes any sting out of paying a premium--so worth it! I can see why they have regulars.

This place is substandard in every way. I have been in there several times thinking that the experience would be better, but it was worse each time. The selection was poor, and the pastries that I bought were simply bad. Perhaps the worst part of each experience was the service. I will not be back. I'll give my money to Federhoffers or MacArthurs. The food is much better and the employees actually seem to be glad that you came in. I gave Pint Size one star because no stars wasn't an option,

Pint Size Bakery. Sure they're "pint sized" alright. Their nonexistent "customer dining area" is certainly "pint sized" and the building itself is quite small. You know what is NOT pint-sized about Pint Size Bakery? Their Cajones! They move in within a stones throw of 2 National established chains - one known for coffee (Starbucks) the other for baked goods (Panera) and they hang a shingle and decide to sell? Well coffee and baked goods, OF COURSE. Yeah, that's some GINORMOUSJUMBO cajones if you ask me. And, in my opinion, they were very, very smart to do so. Because from everything I can tell, they do BOTH of those things BETTER than those crap National chains anyway. I seriously, love, Love, LOVE their cranberry potato chip cookies - truly something to write home about (IF people did that anymore) - the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Do NOT make the mistake of thinking it will taste like potato chips in a cookie and be deterred away from this gem. That would be YOUR mistake. Their Kaldis coffee is,of course, BETTER than any of the burnt, over-roasted, bitter brown water you will get down the road at the National chains and I love that the owner "tweaks" the Kaldis concoction to make it not overly strong like Kaldis can be. Again, with those non-pint sized cajones, ladies - because OF COURSE you can even improve on something as fabulous as Kaldis. With the amazement cranking out of your kitchen - nothing surprises me at Pint Size EXCEPT their hours. I get it - you are up at the break of dawn making your deliciousness and YOU think 3pm is a PERFECT closing time. Well, as your crazy customer who is always frantically calling you as I'm barrelling down Watson to get there by 3p and begging you to hold "my favorite items for me because I swear I will slide in there just AT your closing time" - I personally would LOVE for you to be open until Midnight. But we don't always get what we want. The one star deduction is (and please don't look at it as THAT - look at it as a 4 star addition please!!) is for the savory scones EVERYONE is cyberspeaking about both on this site and elsewhere - and saying they are life changing, etc. I am CLEARLY missing something. I seriously do NOT taste ANYTHING when I eat these things. It's like a really dense biscuit with a faint note of.....flour???? Maybe I need to take the advice given to another Yelper and HEAT them up for "desired results" but honestly they don't inspire me to do so. I will stick with my favorites at Pint Size: the cranberry potato chip cookie, the pumpkin bread - in June - can you believe THAT?, and the quiches - all have SIGNIFICANT YUM factor. Oh and one of the BEST parts about Pint Size? No barely conscious teenager popping their gum and rolling their eyes in adolescent disdain when I place my order as is ALWAYS the case at Panera. Nope. These ladies are as warm and welcoming to me, EVEN WHEN I CRASH THEIR PAD AT 2:58 pm, as any customer could ever hope to encounter ANYWHERE in the customer service world. Pint Size gets a HUGE high five from me and as anyone who reads my reviews will attest, that is a rare, RARE thing indeed. And if they keep doing EVERYTHING so EXCEPTIONALLY well they are going to have to move to a bigger building just to have someplace to put those cajones of theirs!

I love getting coffee and baked goods from Pint Size! I visit a few times a week and have enjoyed all of the baked goods I bought from them. I would recommend the Savory Scones, Breakfast Cookie and the BLT Muffin. They have some of the best coffee around town too!

Not much to say that hasn't been said already in the glowing reviews i've read. The people working there are nice and eager to please. And any place with a counter made from a reclaimed bowling lane has to be great. The pastries are dreamy good. In particular, there's this huge cranberry potato chip cookie that's crazy good, and there's a circular pastry that was in the case that I think they said had croissant qualities to it, but the tooth of it was definitely more of a crispy flakey cakey (enough "ey"s for you?) wonder of the Gods. It was probably the best sweet treat i've had in a couple of years. I mean, it was incredible. Just wish I knew it's name. about 3-4 inches in diameter, blond colored, but not a blondie (which were also good, btw). Anyway, the place was dang tasty. Heard great stuff about these savory scones, and we had one, but it was good. Not great, but good. We'll still try them though, the next time we're back, because that was literally the only thing that wasn't amazing, and it was probably an aberration. Great place.

those savory scones have changed my entire world. i'm not a HUGE sweets person so all the savory treats please. i picked up a mini loaf of zucchini bread for my family and yep, devoured. the hits keep coming out of there and it's true, all that is pint sized about this joint is the actual size of the bakery. it's charming, everyone is super friendly and helpful and i will definitely keep recommending this to anyone i come in contact with. christy makes the best iced lattes.

Love this place! Great addition to South City. So far my husband and I have tried an assortment of cupcake flavors, cinnamon rolls, savory breakfast muffin, and an amazing croissant like pastry with a crispy sweet outer layer. Our favorite cupcakes so far were the chocolate/chocolate and banana with praline crunch. Great customer service. We look forward to many visits to Pint Size in our future!

I kept hearing about the breakfast cookies, so I decided to stop in before work one day. Upon looking and said breakfast cookies, I expected they would be a) too sweet, b) not very filling, and c) overall not too interesting. I was wrong on all counts; they were awesome, and I will definitely be back! The staff was very friendly, despite having a broken air conditioning unit on a very hot day, and the coffee (Kaldi's) was of course great.
